ABOUT US
Here at Pomona Pictures we love science and we want to share our love and passion with the world.
We do this by telling stories; through images, animation and video that engage the public with all aspects of science and the natural world.
Pomona Pictures was originally set up by Pierangelo Pirak, a multiple award winning science producer and motion designer, to help maintain contact with his UK clients when he relocated with his family to Sicily in 2016. We are now a growing team of local illustrators, graphic designers, animators and cinematographers with an extended network of passionate filmmakers from around the world.
We offer a full spectrum of video production and animation services and though we specialise in science communication we work on a broad range of project with our clients, who range from major broadcasters such as Al Jazeera and BBC to charities, universities and NGOs.
